SEDHURO Health Programs

SEDHURO delivers lifesaving and community-based health interventions across Somalia, focusing on improving access to essential healthcare for vulnerable populations, including women, children, IDPs, returnees, and marginalized communities. Through partnerships with UNICEF, UNFPA, SHF, WHO, and local health authorities, SEDHURO strengthens primary healthcare services, enhances maternal and reproductive health, and supports disease prevention and outbreak response in crisis-affected areas.

SEDHURO strengthens nutrition and health links by screening children and pregnant/lactating women for malnutrition, referring acute malnutrition cases to OTP/SC services, providing Vitamin A supplementation, deworming, and immunization support, and establishing Mother-to-Mother support groups on infant feeding practices.
