Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)

Sedhuro, a non-governmental organization, is committed to fighting against female genital mutilation (FGM) in Somalia through a range of initiatives. They collaborate with local communities to raise awareness and educate people about the harmful effects of FGM. Sedhuro provides essential support to survivors of FGM by offering counseling, medical treatment, and legal aid services. They advocate for policies and laws that criminalize FGM and work to strengthen existing laws.
